clothes swaps (swishing) events with a fantastic social fusion of fashion, networking and pampering in a warm friendly environment. Clothes swapping helps to reduce the amount of waste produced by unwanted textiles which as a result is having a negative impact on the environment. And it saves you money!
It's ethical, it's stylish, it saves you money!
SITCUK returns for 2012 at The Good Fashion Show London fashion weeks largest off-schedule event. Themed Designer & Vintage Swish, you may bring a combination of non designer or vintage clothing too. Do your part for the environment and recycle your clothes, don't just leave them hanging in the closet give them a new lease of life, a new owner. So on the 18th Feb let's get swishing - you'll be amazed at what you may find!

How does it work?
Bring between 5 - 10 quality unwanted items which are new or in brilliant condition. Once the swish commences you can choose the equivalent amount of items to take home!
What can you exchange?
Clothes, shoes, belts, bags, coats.

*Entry into the competitions to win some great prizes
Plus there'll be raffle, a chance to network, refreshments available and pampering treatments for you to submerge yourself into including mini manicures, chair-massages, makeovers & personal styling.
Please note. Only tickets purchased in advance (not on the day) include a goody bag. As we are based within a main event you will also need to purchase a £5 ticket or pay on the door for entry to The Good Fashion Show (exhibit & market session).
Swishing Etiquette
*Arrive minimum half hour prior to the swish start time.
*Items are to be handed in to be checked and displayed.
*Damaged or items which do appear worn won't be allowed into the swaps.
*They must be clean and with hangers of which you can take back with you at the end.
*You may choose the equivelent amount of items you brought.
*If you do not find items you like to equal the amount you brought along, then at the end you can take back the remainder of your clothing (only if they have not been chosen by someone else).
*Any items remaining at the end will be auctioned to the highest bidder starting from £3 an item (depending on the value of the item). All monies raised will go to charity.

Saturday 18th Febuary 2012 -The Good Fashion Show at London House- Goodenough College, Mecklenburgh Square, Bloomsbury London WC1N2AB
Drop off 3.30pm Swishing starts at 4.30pm
